Story
This is her story...
"I am a young lady aged 20 years called Nicolene Tanbirayi. I currently dropped out of the university of Zimbabwe due to financial problems. My parents had separated when i was barely 2 years old and my mother took the full responsibility of raising me on her own using the money she earned as a house maid. My mother had to double her energy and do some part time jobs in order to send me to do A'levels. I had learnt how hard my mother was working for me and I doubled my effort at school and became the first student at St Weburgh's High school to score 15 points at A level. I then went on to the university of Zimbabwe but due to my mother $80 a month salary, saving the money was a dilemma and through borrowing and adding with her own savings she managed to raise for me the needed $1000 for my fees and accommodation at the campus for one semester. I began my studies of Bachelor of Law Honors and did very well in my first semester. However it soon became clear that raising fees was going to be a problem. Mother had a coverage debt she had created when she borrowed to add on my fees and I tried to find work but whenever i showed my A level results they told me flatly that I should go back to school.
My plight to you is that if you can by any means help me to raise my school fees I will be most obliged to you. I am hard working, it is my dream that once i complete my law degree i should be able to help those who cannot afford legal fees to see justice by providing them Legal Aid. Having grown in an environment where poor background determines a failure to achieve some dream, I am looking forward to help those in situations like mine, once the opportunity is given. Being a child who is a girl, I also need to inspire many others in the society and show our elders that once they allow us an opportunity we can do them real pride and rise to stardom.
Yours sincerely
Nicolene Tanbirayi"
Any extra money will be going towards the welfare of the orphans of Zimbabwe,
