Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page to raise money for Headcase Cancer Trust.
Our Grandad has very kindly entered us into the Bridgnorth Walk on Monday 25th May. This means that we (Eloise and Arran) have to walk 22 miles from Bridgnorth to the top of the Brown Clee and back! Jake is the lucky one as he only has to walk 7 miles! The walk will probably take us about 8 hours as it's not exactly flat around there either. We did some training by walking up Snowden recently.
We're raising money for Headcase Cancer Trust as you will probably know that our Dad set Headcase up when our Mum died from a brain tumour in 2010. Please give as much as you can so that Dad can give it to researchers so they can find a cure for GBM brain tumours.
Thanks!
Eloise, Arran and Jake.
Here's some blurb from Dad......
Headcase itself raises money for research into the most common form of adult primary brain tumour - a Glioblastoma Multiforme, or GBM for short.
Perhaps you've never heard of a GBM? I certainly hadn't until my Wife,Becky, was diagnosed with one in May 2009. Sadly Becky died only 14 months later on 2nd July 2010, aged just 40.
I decided to set up Headcase because I really believe that the answer will be found and that we can all help in finding a cure for an incurable disease. I really hope that you can do the same and donate to Headcase.
Check out the website - www.headcase.org.uk.
Please donate what you can to play your part in finding a cure for an incurable disease.
Big Thanks,
Col.
