We support survivors of childhood abuse to rebuild their lives

Story

I am raising money for NAPAC (The National Association for People Abused in Childhood) to help create a society in which every adult survivor of childhood abuse in the UK is able to access the support they need, when they need it, to make a journey of recovery and heal their emotional and psychological wounds.

Those of you who know me, I am indeed not an athlete. I only went to the gym for the first time in 8 years earlier this year. I also used to be a full time smoker (12 years of dedicated commitment!) and quit last year in April. I guess you may be able to see where I am heading with this. I have toyed with the idea of setting myself a physical and mental challenge for quite some time but have felt somewhat afraid.

This year I have decided to enjoy the experience of this summer's holidays at an unforgettable running event on one of the most beautiful islands of the world, Hvar.

Date of the event 20.08.2016

Wish me (my feet) luck.

Marjana
