a Very Special Charity Shave, 16 November 2016
We help bullied and traumatised children to give vulnerable children new confidence

Story

I have had a Beard since I was 24 years old & so my face has been hidden underneath it for 32 years. This Month I decided that for Movember 2015 I would like to do "a Very Special Charity Shave" for two Local Charities that I would like you to support:

1. the NORWICH SOUP MOVEMENT

and

2. the RED BALLOON School for severely bullied children.

To make it more interesting I have set up a target.

If we raise the following amounts

(between both Charities) by 15th Nov 2015

UPTO £999 I will shave my 32 year old beard off.

UPTO £1,499 I will also shave off my head hair as well

If we EXCEED £1,500 then I will have my hair cut & shaven so that it is styled into 4 quarters. meaning that 1/2 of my beard only gets shaved off, then the opposite half of my head hair will get shaven off as well leaving me 1/2 bald, 1/2 clean shaven on opposite sides of my face - so I will look very odd indeed. (& no comments needed about my present state ;) )

So whichever target is reached I will have my hair &/or beard shaved off then I will keep it like that until the 1st December 2015.

Now the BIG question : WOULD ANY OF MY PROFESSIONAL BARBERS, STYLISTS, HAIRDRESSER FRIENDS (or perhaps someone I don't know) LIKE TO CUT/SHAVE MY HAIR on the 16th November at their Premises or in an agreed Public Place ?.

If so please contact me by the 9th November, then I will then draw a name out of a hat & announce the WINNING PERSON.

About the charity

16,000 children in the UK are so badly bullied that they cannot go to school. The aim of Red Balloon is to aid their recovery by providing them with an 'intensive care' full-time academic and personal and social education programme so that they can return to mainstream school or go on to college.
