Story

We have set up a new justgiving page so that all online donations from the previous page can be allocated to Martin's Tribute Fund.  The information for this page will remain on www.justgiving.com/martinpears12345  BUT you will no longer be able to donate through that page.  Please start using this page for donations.

Martin passed away in November of last year, just 2 weeks after being diagnosed with leukaemia.  All money raised for Martin's charity will be going to The Young Oncology Unit (Y.O.U.) at The Christie where Martin was well looked after.  We also have a Tribute Fund set up for the Y.O.U and all money raised will be included in this.As you can see from the photograph, Martin now has his golden leaf on the Christie Tree of Hope.   We will continue raising money for Martins fund and the Christie in the future and will allocate raised funds toward the employment of complimentary therapists and the accomodation for patient families.  During Martin's short time in hospital, he had his first massage from a Complimentary Therapist, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

A massive thank you for everybody who has raised money for Martin so far.  In the first year we managed to raise an amazing £32524.61.  There is already plans being made to raise even more money this year.
