Fundraising for St Mary's Hospice
Story
I will be waving goodbye to my thirties this year, and
I thought it would be nice to celebrate it and raise some money for the
local hospice, St. Mary's in Ulverston. They have looked after people I have known, family and friends, and I think they manage to make people's last few days peaceful and dignified.
No presents, no cards, please donate by buying a ticket to the party. If I work out how to do that online, I'll put a link on this page and on the facebook event. Otherwise, it's £10 on the door! Live music, disco and food all included. I encourage scruffy dress, as ever.
My birthday (11th September) falls on a Thursday this year so I thought I'd hold the bash on the nearest Saturday. So, what are you doing on 13th September?
