Story
MCSI Friends are a group of family members, carers, health professionals and friends who all have an interest in Spinal Cord Injuries and help support the Midland Centre for Spinal Injuries (MCSI) based at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (RJAH) through voluntary work and fundraising.
MCSI Friends offer their time to support patients with a spinal cord injury through a variety of roles, from assisting with patients day-to-day activities to a more administrative role.
They also have a big contribution in fundraising activities, whether this is taking part in organised events such as sponsored walks and runs or hosting their own events in order to raise vital funds for new equipment.
Through donating to MCSI friends you will be helping support funding projects, trips for spinal injuries patients and new equipment for the Centre.
MCSI Friends are always looking for new members to help support patients living with a spinal injury. If you are interested in becoming a MCSI Friend please contact heather.edwards@rjah.nhs.uk for more information or visit our website:
