Story

I volunteer at the Foodbank that is run through shoreline church. I see on a daily basis the need that Is out there in Southport.  The need for help is not getting any lower.  That is why I have decided to help with this fantastic cause. But I don't just want to cook the meal, I want to get involved deeper than that. So I have planned a meal that consists of mainly Lancashire produce. In doing this I have agreed with suppliers, farmers etc that in return for some of my time doing labour for them they will supply me with goods free of charge. I will present regular updates which will include me donning my wellies or dare I say it hair nets, so you can follow my journey.  My hope is that you will notice the efforts I have gone to to create not only a special meal but at a minimal cost to the event itself.  In doing so I any small donation to the cause would be greatly appreciated.  I aim to produce 400 plates of top quality food which in itself is challenging enough.

I thank you in advance for taking your time to read my story and also for any assistance or donations you have made.
