In November 2016 I am taking on the challenge of a lifetime. I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to help raise funds for the cancer charity Tenovus. 

Kilimanjaro stands at a massive 5895 metres high and I will experience altitude as I attempt to summit the highest freestanding mountain in the world over the course of a 7 day trek. 

Tenovus is a fantastic charity and the support they provide to cancer patients locally is simply amazing but they rely totally on donations to be able to do this. 

Unfortunately,  we all have/know friends and family who have been affected by cancer and this is basically me doing my bit to help.
