Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Moira's JustGiving page.

Dad died two years ago. Over the following six months we raised £2800 in his name to ensure ICU at West Suffolk Hospital had TV's to help keep patients entertained and help them cope with recovery and serious illness. We saw these in action while mum was being treated in the same unit. A great legacy to leave after a difficult time.

This time we can help others at Addenbrooke's Hospital, and we feel it would be the most fitting tribute to Mum. She had such respect for the hospital staff, and those going through dialysis. Dialysis was something she never had to face, but felt would be very hard to deal with.

We can now help people facing Kidney disease by funding the KPA which provide financial and welfare support for kidney patients and campaign to improve their conditions, not only at Addenbrooke's but also at satellite dialysis units in the area.

Mum was always prepared to care for people in life, she was full of love. Being able to extend this love after her life is a wonderful thing and we are truly grateful for your kindness.
