Earlier this year the Public Health Team in Leeds said goodbye to Bernadette a very dear friend and colleague who throughout her life was committed to improving the lives of people. 

I had successfully gained a ballot place in the Ride London-Surrey 100 and wanted to raise money for a local charity and asked Bernadette for who she would suggest. Without hesitation she said BARCA who she had close links with.

So in memory of her I met up with Mark Law from the charity. The money raised will support their work with families with complex multiple problems supporting them in very challenging circumstances. Please visit their website to find out more.
