The 7.8 magnitude earthquake, which struck close to Kathmandu late in the morning of Saturday 25th April, has killed more than 7,000 people in the Nepalese capital, as well as the Gorkha and Lamjun districts. The death toll continues to rise and hundreds of thousands of people are now homeless.
RedR UK, RedR India and RedR Australia are responding to this disaster right now. With Members on the ground contributing to the immediate response, and plans for a longer-term response including vital humanitarian training, RedR needs your support.
