Story

NASS Trustee Dr Andrew Keat and an enthusiastic team from the London Rowing Club will be rowing from Lechlade to Putney on a 5 day challenge to raise funds for NASS and awareness about Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS).

Ankylosing Spondylitis is a form of inflammatory arthritis that affects around 200,000 in the UK. It is a chronic condition that if left untreated can lead to lifelong pain, stiffness, and in some cases irreversible fusion. As a Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist Dr Keat treats patients who have AS and also provides support and guidance to  NASS, by serving on the Council of Management and Medical Advisory Board. Through this challenge, Andrew and the fantastic team will raise much needed funds to enable NASS to continue providing care, support and information to people with AS across the UK.
