Our beautiful daughter Sophie was diagnosed with this extremely rare genetic disease at 4 months of age having suffered daily seizures from 6 weeks of age.  CDKL5 UK has provided us with information and support since Sophie's diagnosis and is striving to develop and drive research into this incurable illness.  Thank you for sponsoring me in what will certainly be a very testing event but ultimately for a very worthy cause.
