Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page!

Tilinanu opened in August 2009 by my sister Alice Pulford and is approaching its 1st anniversary. It houses over 40 orphaned girls, ranging in age from 5 to 16 years. The girls are in full time education, for the first time in their lives, as well receiving care and love, together with regular meals and medical treatment. Tilinanu is giving the girls the quality of life that every child in the world deserves, making them feel loved and ensuring they never have to worry about where their next meal might materialise from.

In an effort to continue raising money to support Tilinanu, on 26 October 2010, having never climbed before I will be attempting climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.  At some 19,300 feet above sea level at its summit, Kilimanjaro is not only the highest mountain in Africa, but also the highest 'walkable' mountain in the world.

All money raised will be used to help Tilinanu to achieve it's ultimate goal; self sufficiency and sustainability.

The amount of support so to date has been phenomenal and we would never have been able to create this amazing home for the girls without the support of people like you.

If you are able to sponsor this effort THANK YOU!

Thank you! xxx
