About Nith Inshore Rescue
Our role is to provide a voluntary search-and-rescue service covering the estuary of the River Nith, together with rivers and lochs in the area. In recent years we have attended incidents as far afield as Moffat and Thornhill in Dumfriesshire, Carlisle in Cumbria and Loch Ken in Kirkcudbrightshire.
