Over the last year, a huge amount of effort has been expended in getting Emmaus House in Salford up and running, and the Hub and Electrification Alliance has made a great contribution. Crash is the charity that put us in contact with Emmaus, and to support them into the New Year, this has been organised to raise funds for them to go on and help other schemes get going to provide as many chances to get people off the street and a chance to restart their lives.

The event you’ll be sponsoring are people sleeping rough (wooden pallets, cardboard, a tarpaulin, a kipping bag, and a longer beard allowed) in the Square One car park from 15^th to 21^st December and 5^th to 11^thJanuary to raise awareness of homelessness during winter, and funds for Crash to carry on the work they do.
