All praise belongs to Allah سبحانه و تعالى Alone and may peace and blessings be upon the final Prophet.

In the year 1997, we at Nottingham Islam Information Point first started off with a simple table in the bustling city centre of Nottingham giving Da'wah to non-Muslims. On that very first day we started, Allah SWT blessed us with 3 Shahadahs. This motivated us to carry on coming every Saturday, weather permitting, to sit behind this simple table filled with basic Da'wah literature and give them out to those non-Muslims who showed interest in learning about Islam.

Now 14 years have passed, and the growth of new Muslims has increased tremendously and will continue to grow with the help of Du'at giving up their Saturdays to call the people to Islam.

The Du'at at Nottingham Islam Information Point has been working for Allah SWT but from their homes, storing all Da'wah literature and Exhibition Stock. Now that the Da'wah is getting bigger each year, we have finally decided to get our own place.

We at Nottingham Islam Information Point would like to purchase a building to house the Da'wah and offer many services to the community. This will be the first building in Nottingham to house the Da'wah literature aimed at non-Muslims and will serve as a base for fellow Du'at in and around Nottingham to come and attend our Da'wah training seminars and request literature for their universities and events. 

The organisations initial objectives are to establish the following: 

- Da'wah Activities
- Revert Support
- Islamic Educational Classes
- Youth Facilities
- Madrassah

Some of the Da'wah activities we plan to do is hold regular interactive Exhibitions where we invite our non-Muslim neighbours to come see and read about our rich history allowing us the opportunity to discuss any misconceptions they may have. We will also invite schools to come and visit us where we will hold presentations for the children and offer them gifts.

There will also be a Revert's support group where new Muslims can come and learn the foundations of Islam, receive Starter Packs and assist with any financial or spiritual problems they may have. The list of services we would offer new Muslims are; Marriage Matrimony, Revert Iftaars and Eid Dinners, Ruqya & Hijama, Nikah & Walima, Small Financial Debts and a Discounted Hajj Packages.

We would also hold beneficial talks and seminars every other month and Halaqaat classes nearly everyday. Have a small Islamic library and if needed accommodate 5 daily Prayers and maybe Salaatul Jumu'ah every week.

The building will have a dedicated section where we will provide facilities for the youth who can come and socialise with other young Muslims and insh'Allah learn keys skills which will benefit them as a Muslim and as member of the community. Facilities will include a games area that will consist of a Pool table, Table Tennis, Table Football and Computer Gaming. Young Muslims can come on weekday evenings and weekends.

We would like to have a Madrassah in place teaching young Muslims Qur'an with Tajweed, Arabic and Hifz. 

Why we need your support

The building would cost around £300,000 and situated in or around the Hyson Green area where it would be easily accessible for the Muslim community. Alhamdulilah by the grace of Allah (swt) we have raised almost £240,000 but we require the remaining amount of £60,000 to make this project a reality insh'Allah.

Please help us raise money for this ongoing, noble project that carries a lot of Barakaat.

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and his Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them) sacrificed everything they had for the sake of Allah and this noble faith.

Brothers and Sisters please remember the saying of our Lord; “Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend indeed, Allah is knowing of it.” Surah al-Imran 3:92.
