This Christmas Eve we are holding a huge party for around 750 of South London’s most vulnerable children and their families.

We will be serving up a wonderful Christmas meal as well as putting on lots of activities including zumba; dance competitions; a cinema; a photo-booth; a bouncy castle; face painting; games and much more.

All of our families will also be given a gift bag which include some healthy food, toiletries and games for all to enjoy.

In previous years this, much needed, local service was organised by the Kids Company charity which, as you know, no longer exists. Unfortunately, its demise has left a massive gap in local provision for disadvantaged children and their families and – to cut a long story short – we feel that we should step into this breach. In fact, we think, there is no more an appropriate response for a church as a practical outworking of the message of Christmas.
