In memory of Oscar Ibbotson (Helsby)

Story

On July 20th 2016 I was rushed by blue light ambulance from Leeds to Burnley general hospital, my son Oscar was delivered 12 weeks earlier than expected by emergency caesarean.

Oscar was cared for by the Neo natal intensive care unit, (NICU) for five weeks, myself and my partner Neil stayed in the hospital, using a small room set aside for parents so we could be by his side day and night.

Sadly Oscar passed away in Burnley on the 24th August 2016

We would like to be able to give a little back to the ward that took care of Oscar, The work they do on NICU is amazing, the support they provided during the most difficult time of our lives was such a comfort to us both.
