Story
Outreach 3 Way is a Sussex-based learning disabilities charity. We support people with learning disabilities in all areas of daily life, from working to socialising. Our Day Service Centre in Ifield, Crawley acts as a hub for a range of activities including sport, cooking, music and drama.
Auditions for the pantomime take place in August and are open to any of the people we support regardless of their disabilities and needs. Rehearsals begin straight away and run weekly right up until the performance. Opportunities to be involved are vast; from script writing, set design and building, sourcing props, make up design, to being part of the cast.
The pantomime provides a crucial focus and outlet for the people we support to enhance their creativity, giving opportunities to socalise and most importantly to grow in confidence.
The pantomime has been running for 12 years and in that time many of the people we support have begun helping out behind the scenes or in minor acting roles to appearing as main characters showing fantastic acting abilities.
The show takes place at The Hawth Studio on 10thand 11th December and will be enjoyed by audiences of over 750 people.
All the money donated will go towards providing set materials, staging, props, costumes and make up so that the production can be as professional as possible.
A donation of any size will make a huge difference to the lives of the people we support and their enjoyment of this years pantomime
