Story
Paddy Reilly - although physiclly small in statue - was a larger than life character in reality, who spread laughter wherever he went. He lived life to the full; action packed, fast and furious, there was never a dull moment whenever he was around and he always had a smile on his face! He spent his life lurching from one dangerous sport to another; high diving, high speed road bikes, rallying and snow skiing, to name a few, before finally taking up powerboat racing in his fourties. His love for this sport earned him many friends at home and abroad and 'the older he got - the faster he went!'
Sadly Paddy slipped away at 1.15pm on Tuesday 12th February just before his 84th birthday. For the dedication, care and support - but above all honesty - shown during his final hours by the staff of the Intensive Care Unit of Medway Maritime Hospital, we would prefer donations in lieu of floral tributes at his funeral on 15th March. Please donate here leaving your messages and memories.
