Story
In January 2010 at 23 years old, our daughter Holly Webber was diagnosed with advanced bowel cancer. After 2 years of aggressive treatment, combining chemotherapy with three major surgeries, her cancer was diagnosed as terminal. In January of this year she embarked upon a clinical trial in the hope of slowing down the progression of secondary disease on her liver and lungs but it was unsuccessful. Holly passed away on 30th August 2012 at The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. We are so very grateful for the superb palliative care and support she received from the team. During her illness Holly & friends supported The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice with many fund raising events and we would like to continue this support in her memory.

Holly was a beautiful, caring and inspirational young woman. She understood what really matters in life and she tried to live that life to the full, touching many hearts and minds whilst still fighting her own battle with cancer. During this time she created a blog, not only to tell her story but with the aim of helping others and inspiring her readers. You can read the blog on http://passing-cloud.tumblr.com/
