KGS Sponsored Row 2016
Campaign by KGS FOUNDATION (RCN 1078461)
Kingston Grammar School Rowers will be taking on the challenge of rowing 70K in a day from Henley to Kingston.

Story

I have returned to rowing after a brief 33 year absence, initially to support my daughter's Millie's school boat club and "Young Minds", a mental health charity for young people. Funds raised will be split equally between the two.

Millie had been an active and committed rower with school and has been rehabilitating after a disc injury which means she cannot participate in the event herself so I'm sort of her rep too.

70km is maybe not the gentlest return and the medicine cabinet will need to be well stocked.

If you would like to support me and the causes I would be eternally grateful. Regardless, I hope the image you might have of how I'm going to be walking the day after the event will provide you with a bit of mirth.

Tally ho.
