Carers Trust Fylde Coast has a big year ahead with a new build, Carers support others in a way that is absolutely inspirational!

The service is often a lifeline for many carers who would otherwise feel isolated and unable to cope.

Support includes respite activities which allows carers to socialise with others in a supported, safe environment, learn new skills and build self-esteem.

Carers Trust Fylde Coast currently support over 3,500 carers, but statistics show that there are 12,500 more ‘hidden’ carers in the Blackpool area. Our support workers liaise with schools and colleges, speaking at assemblies and also working with health professionals, to make them aware of and thereby learn how best to support carers.
