Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Those who knew my Dad, Noel Armstrong, before the illness would recognise him as a great man, a confident communicator, who was very outgoing, and  a true family man who loved his wife dearly.  We dont recognise the man my father has now become, well, most of the time.  He occasionally gives you a weary glimpse into the past, or a frail joke, however after 10 years of suffering a slow decline with this terrible disease, he is fading fast now, he is about to go into care, something that is rocking the whole family as it is not something we want to do, but we have to, in order to safeguard the wife he has adored for nearly 60 years.  

We must stop this disease in its tracks...... Lancaster University's David Allsop and team may hold the key!  You can help them by donating here, wouldnt it be great to see this door unlocked in our lifetime, and finally have a drug that provides a much needed solution for us and our families.
