Story
On Sunday 21st August I will be taking part in a charity football match, in my spare time I coach and U14’s team for Leighton United playing in the children youth league.
This year the club is celebrating its 30th Anniversary and to commemorate the coaches are forming a team to take on an Arsenal Charity team, made up of ex-players and celebrities. Apart from the challenge of facing some ex pro’s we have the added problem of a part time team and a bunch of coaches who think they are football experts, when actually even running is a challenge!! It should be fun.
We are raising money for two charities:
Arsenal Foundation > Supporting a number of local and international projects. Including a donation to Save the Children in China to train 200 teachers and 20 head teachers to keep children learning and progressing at school.
Ronald McDonald Houses enable families to maintain a degree of normal life while their child is undergoing medical treatment in partnered specialist children's hospitals across the UK. - See more at: http://www.rmhc.org.uk/what-we-do/#sthash.39FQdXfy.dpuf
