Story
After twice promising myself that I would never again run another Marathon, here I am once more on the brink of putting myself through it "just one more time". To make my task easier, I have; enlisted, cajoled, encouraged and otherwise persuaded (I hope) most of my family; William, Margot and Felix, into joining me on this lengthy and torturous journey of enlightenment. Whilst William and I are pounding the roads around a chilly Watford on dark damp winter evenings Margot is improving her range training in and about a perspiring, sun-drenched Sydney. Felix, of course, is too cool to interrupt his busy university rugby schedule to do anything as mundane as running.
I have been a supporter of Phab Kids for some years and through helping out I have experienced at close hand the help and happiness the charity brings to families involved . Phab Kids is a fantastic charity to be supporting and worth every moment of the pain and family anguish that it will take to get us to the Finish Line. A total of one hundred and four point eight miles need to be run on that fateful day in April and a great many more before then to pretend we are athletes.
If you are worried that Olly might have been left out don't be concerned as he is in charge of catering and logistics and is quite happy to remain wrapped up indoors with his feet up wondering what the fuss is all about.
