Hello Everyone,

Africa beckons !

I have been searching for a challenge that will be inspiring and fulfilling, both for me and for those around me. At the same time, I hope that others may benefit from my achievement.

My trip will take me across the African continent, passing through no less than nine different countries. Beginning in Nairobi in Kenya and finishing in Cape Town, South Africa. Covering approximately 6000 miles in just under six weeks.

I will be taking the roads less travelled and be stepping completely out of my comfort zone, in terms of riding, different cultures, languages and traditions. I will be exposed to poor infrastructure throughout the route and will be riding for many weeks without seeing a hint of tarmac.

Mental and physical preparation is well under way as well as the custom preparation of my motorcycle.

Through my endeavours, I hope to raise a substantial amount of money, as well as raise awareness for "Winston's Wish", the charity for bereaved children. (Click on link to learn more)
