Story
Anyone who knows me knows that I love a tipple, whatever it may be, sometimes a bit more than others! I've decided to remove this luxury from my life as a personal challenge and as a statement that a good cause is worth a difficult task.
Lent started on my 27th birthday, and I have not touched a drop of alcohol since before the start of lent. I will keep this up for 40 days, whilst still going out etc, but remaining sober, in order to try and raise money for this awesome charity.
I met 2 of the guys involved at Glastonbury last year, and they informed me of their cause, and the fact that they use their own money to fund themselves going out to Sierra Leone, to then use the money raised to dig wells for impoverished villages in the nation to offer a better quality of life for the villagers.
A more in depth description of what they do can be found on their website, but trust me when I say this is a VERY worthy cause, and you should all give some money to help them.
I emplore you, please don't allow my 40 days of sobriety benefit nobody but myself :)
