Story
On this coming weekend (9th-10th November 2013) we are hitchhiking as far as we can from Bristol in a single 36-hour period. We are planning on crossing the Channel and then heading as far east as time will allow. The money raised in sponsorship will go to the Quartet Community Foundation, with £7500 raised by Bristol RAG Jailbreak last year.
The Quartet Community Foundation is an independent charity based in the West of England. It matches up community volunteering projects and local charities with funding, seeking to help not only those most disadvantaged and isolated, but also the community as a whole.
Please feel free to visit http://www.quartetcf.org.uk/ if you’d like to find out more!
We thank you for taking the time to visit our page and hope that we can raise enough to make a difference, remember that every little helps, even if it’s only a penny per mile or a £2 one off! Jailbreak is completely free, so with no donations needed to fund our trip, every penny goes straight to the Quartet.
Our progress over the weekend will be updated every few hours via a tracking service, with our location uploaded on to a map viewable at http://www.studentjailbreak.co.uk/bristol/teams/10/
