Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and supporting us in our quest to raise money for the CLDF which originally started with the challenge of The Great North Run 2012 and has continued with other events which have inspired a whole community.
Jennifer is running the London Marathon on 21st April which is one of if not the most prestigous marathon in the world and a certainly a very serious challenge. Please support Jen in her endeavours to raise further awareness and support for the CLDF.
Below is the original reasons why we have chosen to help support the CLDF:
Just before Christmas 2011 Sebastian & Charlotte's baby girl Imogen was diagnosed with a rare liver condition called Biliary Atresia requiring a liver transplant. Since then they have spent a lot of time in hospital and have recieved a huge amount of support from the CLDF - Children's Liver Disease Foundation.
The help and support and the insight into the huge amount of good work that the CLDF do has inspired the six young (ish!) vets and friends to dust off the cobwebs and get involved in raising money for a very worthwhile cause.
So we have chosen the Great North Run as our main event this year. All of us are looking forward if not with a little apprehension to the most prestigious half marathon in the country.
All your support for this worthy charity, that has become very close to our hearts, is greatly appreciated however large or small.
Thank you
Sebastian, Jennifer, Stringer, Harris, Michael, Danny and Imogen as well.
