PROJECT PERU'S APPEAL AND SPONSORED RIDE
CHILDREN CYCLING FOR CHILDREN: 2nd October 2016
In this extraordinary year of surprises, change, and amazing achievements both on and off bikes, Project Peru is transforming the annual Paris bike ride* into a challenge for Naomi [aged 8] and George [aged 5]. Like 2 mediaeval knights they will ride out to represent Project Peru and the children in our refuge in the shanty towns of Lima, taking up the challenge of cycling up to 25 miles in one day**! Your challenge is to sponsor them!
Our challenge is to keep Project Peru going and our goal with this sponsored ride and appeal is to come as close as possible to raising the £20,000, which is the total reached annually from our Paris bike ride, so these funds are vital! Every £1,000 donated would cover the cost of caring for one child for one year. And we care for 52 children in our refuge! So Naomi and George have accepted their challenge; please accept yours and help us ensure that the children in our refuge go on living in a safe and welcoming home. Your donation will make a real difference!
Without your ongoing generosity our refuge would no longer be able to go on offering food, clothes, shelter, education, health and fun, and a real home full of warmth, security, love andpossibilities. Do look at our website www.projectperu.org.uk for up-to-date information, and contact us if you would like to know more; we love hearing from you.
As always, a huge and heartfelt thank you to all those who support us with such generosity, enthusiasm and loyalty.
Looking forward to hearing from you and welcoming your donations and sponsorship. Please ask your friends, family and colleagues to contribute too.
Sponsor now ...or ask us for a sponsor form and send us a cheque.
With warmest wishes and a big abrazo
