I am running the Liverpool Marathon on October 14th in memory of my partner Matt who passed away from 'sudden and unexpected death in epilepsy' on the 1st February 2012. Matt's death devastated the lives of so many who will always love and remember him for all the fun, the love and the sunshine he brought into their lives. Matt was always saddened to hear stories of young people whose lives were adversely affected by illness and Maddi's story in particular touched his heart. Matt is buried next to Maddi and it brings comfort to both families to think that they are friends now, looking out for each other. We know that Matt would share our commitment to try and put a smile back on the faces of children who may feel like they have little to smile about. Supporting Maddi's Butterflies can help to achieve this. If you too would like to help children with Neuroblastoma and Rare Cancers and give them something to smile about, here's your chance!
