How it all began...In the first few moments of January 2012 which should have been a bright start to the new year, my much loved brother in law Rem was losing his brave and harrowing fight against depression .My aim is to raise funds locally for mental health charities through my Art, which was born out of an Art therapy night last year in 2012 ,organized by a friend to try and cheer us up. My chosen charity is Maytree a respite centre for those in suicidal crisis with my aim to enable people in our area to be able to tap into their resources and make it available to those in the Northamptonshire / Daventry area .I felt the help offered to Rem in his time of need was seriously lacking within the NHS..I want to stop people like Rem falling through the cracks .
