Story
As many of you know, my faith is very important to me, and lastnight for some very strange reason, I felt that I needed to raise money for charity and that this would involve shaving my head....??!!! Yep! This came completely out of the blue and I was unable to get to sleep because of it. I have woken up with the same strong feelings about it and even ended up crying trying to explain to James that I have to do it, but asking his permission first.
This shows me two things, that giving money to those in need is very important to God but the sacrifice that you yourself are willing to make is also as important. Shaving my head is hardly a big thing, but to me it is a bigger sacrifice than alot of other things that I could do and I have nothing to gain from it. The money that you are donating will help people who really need it, for life! Whether you believe in God or not, please support me and help people in the neediest of places. Worldshare uses your donations to help with the following things: Agriculture & Livelihood, Children, Education and Families, Community Development, Evangelism, Churches and Healthcare. This charity has no government grants either, they work solely off donations. http://www.worldshare.org.uk/what-we-do/ The hair that is cut off, i'm goin gto donate to http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/donate-hair/ This trust makes wigs for children who have suffered hair loss through cancer treatment.
Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed - Proverbs 19:17.
Thank you so much to everyone who donates. I will be shaving my head on Saturday 8th August!
