Khan Yun was a loving husband and father, who got a huge amount of enjoyment from his creative work as a photographer and video artist, and his countless hobbies such as roller derby, skating, kickboxing, surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, djing and darts. He lost his struggle with mental illness in the end, but had an amazing zest for life. I want to fundraise for Core Arts, a charity that promotes the artistic and creative abilities of people who experience severe and enduring mental health issues, to help others get the same enjoyment from life that Khan did, even when there is a constant struggle going on beneath the surface. The charity is based in Hackney, and London was a very special place to Khan.
