reunite's Annual Sponsored 5km Walk
Thank you for supporting us!
This event has been ongoing since 2010 and brings together parents, families, friends and supporters who have been in contact with reunite over the years. It is also an opportunity to raise money in support of our advice line so we can continue to offer advice, information and support to parents and those affected by international parental child abduction.
The sponsored walk is a great opportunity to meet other parents and the reunite team. The day is about bringing parents together rather than fundraising so even if you cannot find anyone to sponsor you, don't worry, just join us for the day.
Stave Hill Ecological Park is in Greater London (nearest tube station is Canada Water) and is the base for our walk - which will take us around some of the beautiful sites of Rotherhithe, including Lavender Pond Nature Park and along the Thames Path to Surrey Docks City Farm and Russia Dock Woodland.
reunite staff will be at “The Shed” in the centre of the park at 10.30am with your reunite t-shirt, coffee and biscuits in readiness for our start at 12:00 noon.
The walk should take approximately 1.5 hours but may take longer if you take a break in Surrey Docks City Farm to feed the animals and grab a bite to eat at the café.
We would be delighted if you could come and join us for the day and please feel free to bring friends and family with you. If you are unable to attend but would like to make a donation to reunite, your donations will be helping the continuing work of reunite's advice line.
We look forward to seeing you on 20th September.
If you are unable to join us but wish to support someone who is taking part, or you would like to make a donation, then donation through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving, they will never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Thank you for your support.
