On the 26th of June i'm starting my ascent of Kilimanjaro. It's the largest free standing mountain in the world, and apparently the only place on earth where you can see the true curvature of the earth. At just shy of 20,000 ft it's fairly high ;-)

"My life has been affected over the last 20 years by addiction and this trip is a way in which i can support the charity that i work for Double Impact, raise awareness for the organisation and break stigma that still exists around people who suffer from substance & alcohol misuse issues.

I've funded the trip myself, so all the money that is raised will go directly towards supporting people who are rebuilding their lives from subtance & alcohol addiction. I'm passionate about the work we do at Double Impact and your donation will go along way towards helping our service users.
