About Crossroads Care Richmond upon Thames
Richmond Crossroads Care service provides individually tailored support to Carers and people they support. Most of us juggle busy lives, but if you also look after a relative or friend who is ill, frail or disabled, you probably find it extremely difficult to have a full life of your own. Richmond Crossroads provides Care support workers to take over the caring tasks, giving the Carer a much needed break thus providing care for people in their own homes or take people out into the community. They run The Caring Cafe where Carers and people affected by dementia can meet for a light lunch in the company of others in a similar situation. They also run two Saturday Clubs for children with special needs giving parents a break and the children the opportunity to have fun in their own club and environment. In addition they have a Young Carers with special needs project called "Time Out' for children who need to take a break from their caring role.
