Story

The fifth annual Ride for Adam takes place on July 11th, 2015 and there are two rides to choose from – one of 25 miles and one of 90.

The event is named after Adam Kawalek, a little boy who died in March 2011 at the age of ten. We started Ride for Adam in 2011 and originally rode from the hospital to Adam’s house in Conwy, as a touching way to remember him.

Adam suffered from leukaemia and overall spent four and a half years under the care of RMCH. The standard of clinical care given by the hospital is excellent, but our funds will help make it even better. Every pound we raise will help children who have leukaemia.
