We improve early diagnosis and treatment to save more women's lives

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In March 2015 our world was turned upside down when our Mum, Ady, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. Secondary cancer was also detected in other vital organs. Without urgent treatment the long term prognosis was poor. Fortunately through extensive chemotherapy and other treatment, Mum is still here today fighting her battle.

As a family we wanted to give something back and raise awareness of what is described as the 'silent killer' - this cancer affects 1 in 75 women, going unnoticed without any signs or symptoms.

Inspired by our Mum, we are challenging ourselves to raise money for Target Ovarian Cancer. On 27th-31st July 2016 the four of us are undertaking the London to Paris Cycle Ride, 300 miles in 4 days, with 3 of us new to the saddle! Your support or donations would be greatly appreciated!

Watch out for live feeds and information on upcoming fundraising events.

As a family (not just those doing the ride) we thank you in advance for your support and generosity.

Simon, Tim, Kirsty and Graeme
