Hi everybody! I'm Raphael Fischer, and I'm going on the Bristol RAG Jailbreak 2013 with my good friends Oscar Gilbert (co-star of Jailbreak 2012 - "Rush to Edinburgh") and Becky Maguire! For those of you who we didn't already chase up last year, Jailbreak is an event where participants raise money by going on a sponsored 36-hour trek to get as far as they can without spending any of their own money on travel (i.e. hitchhiking, smiling sweetly at bus drivers, becoming stowaways), and as with always we're raising money for the phenomenal Quarter Community Foundation, a Bristol-based trust who give grants to various local charities who:

- Help people who are most disadvantaged and isolated
- Encourage people to get involved in improving their own community
- Give people opportunities others take for granted
- Respond to the needs and concerns of people living in local communities

As we've all loved spending our time in Bristol, we'd really like to take the opportunity to raise support and money for them, so we're asking you all to hand over your cash and help us help them.

Regarding the details - Jailbreak this year starts at 9am on November 9th, and ends at 9pm on November 10th (the Saturday-Sunday weekend). We have travel insurance and EHICs as a standard, and we'll be keeping in touch with RAG through their innovative and exciting tracking tool (we send them regular text updates with our location and a short message, and they post it with live updates).
