We raise money in our son's memory to give to other charities helping children

Story

I'm climbing Mt Fuji on July 12th in aid of the Tommy Hollis Children's Fund. It is a honour to undertake a challenge that is so close to my heart and for such a good cause.

The Tommy Hollis fund was set up by Tommy's parents after he tragically died the day before his first birthday. The purpose of the charity is to grant money to existing charities that work with children with the aim of providing;

*immediate care
*ongoing support for children and their families
*support in bereavement

The vision of the charity is to generate financial resources to;

-Help make medical equipment available to sick children
-Bring support and enjoyment to orphaned children
-Help parents & families spend quality time with terminally ill children
-Assist in the welfare of underprivileged children
-Provide bursaries for training in palliative care

All of the charities that The Tommy Hollis Fund supports are small local charities that have no government funding and so every pound is really important!

Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your support.

About the charity

The Tommy Hollis Children's Fund is a fund for the benefit of underprivileged, sick and orphaned children in memory of our son who died in tragic circumstances. As parents who have lost a child we would like to give loving care to children, in particular those without parents. We will be working with other charities who provide this support in the most direct way possible in order to ensure that help reaches those who most need it.
