Roland fought a long battle against cancer for 2 and a half years and lost the fight on the 27th June 2013. His bravery and strength throughout was inspirational! He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend to many and will leave a gap in many lives.

In his last 9 days he was admitted to St Clares Hospice and received amazing care from dedicated staff. His peaceful and comforable death, can be used to give comfort to those who miss him and know that he did not suffer.

The hospice is a charity run hospice and therefore will benefit greatly from donations and can continue to give the help they gave to Roland, to others.
