The Olive Tree provide an invaluable service to those who have or had cancer as well as to their families.  They provide a range of services to support them from the point of diagnosis, through your treatment and beyond for as long as they need help.

They are an independent charity providing a range of support to cancer patients, their carers and families. The cornerstones of their provision are in the areas of information, emotional support and complementary therapy. However, they have an ever expanding offer of additional services including a cancer survivorship programme, a coaching programme, singing workshops and social events.

They currently receive no statutory funding and rely solely on the generosity of others.

Red River plans to walk up to (one group will be doing 18 miles approximately and the other will be doing 26+ miles) 26 miles across the South Downs Way.  This will be all done in a single day, Saturday the 25th of June. There will be around 3000 feet of hills for us to climb.
