Story

In April 2015, I managed to take a 30ft fall in Ilkley Quarry while climbing. I suffered 11 broken ribs, 2 broken vertebrae, a fractured skull, a punctured lung and a smashed up clavicle, for a long while, I and I think everyone around me had me written off as dead. Had it not been for Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association getting me off the crag and in to Leeds General Infirmary's hands, I would be dead, I can't thank them enough! They do fantastic work, as do all the Mountain Rescue teams. Many lives are saved from lots of different situations cause of Mountain Rescue so whether it's £0.01 or £1,000,000, donate all you can! The whole association is reliant on donations and volunteers.
