On the 16th of March 2016, our son Rhys was taken to hospital and diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.

This has been a difficult adjustment in terms of understanding T1 and we are just starting this journey.

We are learning to help Rhys grow and understand his condition and couldn't do this without the amazing support from the Diabetes Center's doctors and nurses.

I want to raise money for Diabetes Jersey to help raise awareness of T1 and also as a thank you for all the support we have received as a family.
