I have been honoured this year to be given a place to run the London Marathon for the Ickle Pickles Children's Charity -  www.icklepickles.org.!!  Ickle Pickles is a Nationwide charity, founded in 2008 and based in London that raises money to provide support and specialist equipment to Neonatal units and specialist transport ambulances up and down the country. It's a charity that has a personal touch for me as I have some close friends who have a beautiful little girl, Izzy, who was born very premature with a lot of complications. She was truly a miracle baby and is now 8 years old and doing great. Following the support they recieved, her parents have become very involved in the organisation. The work this charity does is invaluable in helping to provide sick and premature babies (like Izzy )the best chance of chance of survival at their most vulnerable time. It is an absolute honour to be able to raise money for such a great cause. So please, if you are going to pick a charity and a Masochist to sponsor this year in the Marathon, please pick this one!!
