My son Tom is a Royal Marine and in 2009 whilst serving in Afghanistan a colleague of his suffered life changing injuries when a Taliban IED exploded under his vehicle. Help Our Wounded RM&SA provided funding to help him enrol on a training scheme which led to a new career.
